Intro

The first thing you need to get repository commit rights is your GMail account name. If you do not have one, refer to gmail FAQ, or ask me for invitation.
  • When using subversion
    • Group related changes together
    • Include a comment explaining your changes
    • Link to related bug reports and wiki pages
    • DO NOT break the build. The source in the repository should always build and work correctly.
    • Forget CVS and use Subversion's advanced features (moving and renaming files and directories is fully supported for example).
    • Read the Subversion book.
  • New developers and designers get write access to the SVN repository after they've submitted a few significant patches and existing developers feel confident in their ability to make reasonable changes.
